Genesis Youth is an unincorporated voluntary organisation established in 2002 in the heart of Newham (host borough to the 2012 Olympic Games). We have various partnerships with bodies in Newham, Tower Hamlets and Essex.
The organisation came about when the now senior Genesis members identified several young talented footballers playing for different teams and brought them together to form one competitive side to compete with a philosophy of skilful and attacking football. Genesis Youth was formed and we have since gone from strength to strength both as a community organisation and as a club Genesis FC.
Senior members are young adult volunteers (of appropriate mixed ethnic backgrounds), who are qualified professionals, with a track record of involvement in community organisations, education and grass roots team sport.
